In 2024, Sam became a mom, and with the arrival of her little one, a love for all things personalised began to bloom. Each keepsake, each custom piece, sparked a deep passion within her. A desire to create meaningful, unique treasures for babies and families.

Her mother, Michéle, has always been extremely talented with embroidery. But in 2023, Michéle faced a tough journey when she was diagnosed with cancer and her creative work was put on pause.

Now, nearly three years later, Michéle is doing wonderfully. Whilst still undergoing treatment, she is filled with excitement and energy to embark on a new adventure, side by side with Sam. Together, they are bringing a dream to life: a business built on love, creativity and family.

For Sam, starting this journey with her mom is more than a business. It’s a lifelong dream to create a legacy for her mom. And for Butter and Moon, every personalised piece carries not just craftsmanship, but a story of resilience, love and the joy of creating something truly yours.
